The House of Solferino possesses an indescribable magic—one that visitors can immediately feel when stepping into the third-floor showroom.

Each room, steeped in history, has been given new life through innovative design, while the spirit of the Brera district has been carefully preserved and reinterpreted. Here, creativity and heritage merge, and interior design and architecture evolve into a unique, symbiotic relationship.

This showroom is the result of collaboration among several carefully selected companies and brands. In addition to lighting by Occhio and furniture by Walter Knoll, the guest rooms feature Italian design influences from ILVE, 6x6, and 41zero42. The House of Solferino serves as a collective platform for product presentation, sales, events, and editorial content—creating a true synergy between interior design and culture.

The showroom also functions as the Milan-based lighting consultancy and service center for Occhio’s Munich headquarters. Architects and planners can not only experience Occhio’s product range firsthand but also consult with specialists on lighting products and project planning.

Occhio’s lighting systems are distributed across various living spaces throughout the showroom, with each area offering a distinct design. The luminaires enhance the sensory elegance of the interiors, creating a flawless lighting atmosphere.
