Mito Linear丨Redefining Integrated Lighting Design for the Office

A new office by German developer Binnberg, located in Munich’s Gabrielenlofts, was transformed from a functional factory space into a creative working environment.

Through the lighting layout in this new office, Occhio luminaires quietly demonstrate how an integrated lighting design approach can define and shape an entire space.

A Play of Shapes and Materials

The Binnberg office combines raw exposed concrete, warm wooden floors, and black-and-white interiors with the signature elegant forms and refined aesthetics of the Mito series. For the first time, the Mito Linear series was introduced — using linear suspension to extend the circular beauty of the long Mito luminaires.

A New Form of Light — Mito Linear

Mito Linear represents the evolution of the Mito concept, elevating design quality, light quality, and interactive lighting to a new level. In the Binnberg workspace, adjustable-height Mito Volo luminaires are installed.

Suspended at varying heights from the concrete ribbed ceilings, their clever linear arrangement emphasizes the astonishing sense of floating space. Thanks to »color tune«, Mito Linear’s lighting can adapt to any activity or mood — whether it’s energizing, focused cool light, or gentle warm light for late-night work.

Emphasizing the User Experience — Mito Sospeso

Mito Sospeso floats like a cloud above the developer’s office conference table. Its color temperature can be infinitely adjusted between 2700 K and 4000 K, just like other Mito series luminaires.

Operation is equally convenient: using the »touchless control« feature, Mito Sospeso can be controlled via gestures or the app. This allows effortless switching on and off, dimming, or freely distributing light upward or downward — all without touching the fixture.

Comfortable, Pleasurable Contour Light — Più Alto 3D

The office walls act as vertical reflective surfaces for Più Alto 3D spotlights, creating contour-like illumination that provides a comfortable and pleasant base lighting level.
