The quality of light that humans perceive is determined by how the visible light spectrum is rendered. The unit used to measure a light source’s color rendering is the Color Rendering Index (CRI). With sunlight as a reference standard, CRI is 100. Occhio’s “Perfect Color” LEDs reach a CRI of 97, which is very close to sunlight, perfectly reproducing the subtle differences and depth of colors as seen in nature.

Next-generation LED lighting
Occhio’s ultra-high CRI “Perfect Color” LEDs are made from specially combined phosphors, offering 2700K and 3000K options at CRI 97. The “High Color” LEDs used in the Mito series, with CRI 95, can be preset between 2700K and 4000K, and allow free adjustment of color using the Occhio air app or gesture control.
