DESIGN THINKING-

Paloma’s design sensibility is a modern take on traditional style– gravitating towards classic silhouettes and timeless pieces paired with a touch of glamour and an infusion of color. Paloma has honed her distinct eye for style over more than a decade in the design industry and a lifetime of appreciating beauty in all of its various forms. She has developed a reputation for designing beautiful interiors in a broad range of styles which are executed in a manner that is polished, refined, and effortless. Paloma’s interiors are at once timeless, yet fresh– balancing attention to detail and the intersection of form and function to enhance a well-lived life.

Paloma has multiple roles (designer, blogger, writer and shop owner),she is not only known for the scope of her work but for the quality, consistency and true artistry that goes into each of her projects. Her work feels fresh yet never trendy, modern yet classic. “I personally love things that have a timeless, enduring quality. In order to achieve that, I really believe that you need a classic foundation. I love looking to the spaces designed by some of my idols from generations past and thinking about how to reinterpret some of the ideas in a way that feels fresh, current, and appropriate for the way we live today. Ultimately, it is all about the mix.”

Suspended above the table, a composition of Luna pendants casts ripples of warm light.

In the lounge, the Mito largo floor lamp defines intimate zones with light,
while the nearby Luna parete wall fixture echoes softly—
subtly dividing the tea space and dining area, while maintaining an invisible connection.

Light as a Cultural Medium

At MuLi·MuWai · The Forbidden City · Yuan Residence,
light is more than illumination—it is a medium that bridges history and modernity.
Occhio connects German engineering precision with Eastern philosophy,
presenting nothing short of a Renaissance of Light.
